  • For many years I have neglected to be conscious of how food can aid me to balance my body, mind and moods. Therefore, working with Karen has been refreshing and heartwarming. She has offered me guidance on a road to a healthier me. For the last few months Karen has helped me uncover the power I have over my own well being. She has advised me on how (at my pace) to substitute the things I crave and love, like fatty foods, sugar and caffeine, with proteins, grains, fruits, vegetable and nuts that make me feel just great. This has been accompanied by conversations about the importance to listen to what my body feels when I choose to eat the high and empty calorie foods. We have also worked with yoga and breathing exercises as tools to complement the new me. The resonating thought I have to share with anyone that will listen to me is that my energy level and my clear thinking is very much in harmony with the person I want to continue to work on being.To you Karen, I thank you!   • Dear Karen:How are you? I just had to write to let you know how great I feel -Got my period a few days ago -- no cramps, no bloating, no back pain, minor insomnia. Just feel fantastic. Yes, I realize it may be my change of life, yet I feel it is the healthy way I am eating and the way I have been taking care of myself.Thank you so much for working with me, love you! :)
  • You are the best!!! I thank you for getting me back into the swing of things. I am speaking for myself but know you are a huge inspiration to a lot of us. I enjoy and look forward to coming to your classes. I guess it is a healthy habit to have which is what I have been trying to add into my life after a couple of difficult years.   • Every workshop is a wonderful piece of Yoga experience, but each of them gives a different kind of practice and knowledge. I am glad to know which exercises to help my herniated disc problem (Yoga for better Back). I like a set of exercises as well as self esteem affirmations and beautiful music and attachments. It helps overcome stress and excitement. (Yoga for Depression).The yoga workshop for Menopause made me more balanced and confident. I want more of them. -Mira Yusim
  • Once again, I want to thank you for all that you do for me....i know you don''t think it is a lot but you and your class keep me grounded, calm me, make me feel better, stronger. I was not having a couple of good weeks (bad eating, stress, aggravation at work etc). Tuesday''s class was tough for me for my mind was not in the right place but somehow I tried my best and I was a different person after. It is my therapy, my drive to stay focused on me and taking good care of myself. I know it is all in me but believe me your class is a huge lift, push etc. Feel free to show this to your family and friends cause they probably don''t believe what you actually do for people and I am sure not for just me but for many others as well. I find myself running to your class sometimes even though I am exhausted and can''t move after a long day of work. That is a huge compliment. Once again,Thanks. Love, Kim
